In recent times I have been working hard on the creative side of my photography. I’ve felt confident with the technical side of my work for a good year or so, but feel I need to push myself to find new perspectives that people may not have seen before. One of the ways I have tried to do this is with my use of light and shade, such as can be seen here on this chiaroscuro portrait of a tākapu (Australasian gannet).
